The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Pharmacy Residency Programs offer a wide variety of options for potential PGY1 and PGY2 residency candidates. Our preceptors are dedicated to the education and growth of our residents and seek to provide them with the tools to become premier practitioners in their chosen field. The UAMS COP programs are affiliated with other residency programs in the state through: 1) providing the state’s Teaching Certificate Program, 2) shared rotations and preceptors, 3) provision of preceptor development and 4) mentorship for the Pharmacy Residents of Arkansas Leadership Organization (PRALO). We look forward to showing you all that a UAMS COP residency program can offer you.
UAMS is the state’s only comprehensive academic health center, with colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Professions and Public Health; a graduate school; a hospital; a statewide network of regional centers; and seven institutes: the Winthrop P.
