15th Annual Geriatrics and Long Term Care Update
September 12 – 14, 2014 (Preconference held September 11, 2014)

The 15th Annual Geriatrics and Long-Term Care Update will take place on Friday, September 12 through Sunday, September 14 at the Reynolds Center on Aging on the campus of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

A pre-conference on Functional Assessments will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014.

Tobacco & Disease: Lung Cancer Symposium
November 7, 2014 
Crowne Plaza Hotel – Little Rock, AR

This 1-day symposium will present a variety of topics for an interprofessional audience related to the treatment of patients suffering from lung cancer and other tobacco-induced diseases and the best information available about tobacco prevention and cessation among individual patients and communities.  Attendees will interact through active instructional methods including pro/con sessions, simulated patient case presentations, and other team-based learning strategies.
