Preview days provide an opportunity for individuals interested in applying to the UAMS College of Pharmacy (COP) to visit campus and learn more about the College. Below is a description of the information that may be provided during the event.
Pharmacist Panel – Hear from current pharmacists about the different fields within the profession
Student Panel – Learn what it is like to be a student pharmacist at UAMS and the opportunities available to students
Admissions Session – Receive information on what to know when applying to UAMS COP
Tour of the College – Take a short tour with current student pharmacists to see the different areas of the College

UAMS Center for Diversity Affairs hosting Diversity Day for undergraduate college students on Friday, October 2, 2015.
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Center for Diversity Affairs will be hosting the first Annual Diversity Day on Friday October 2, 2015. This event is designed to inform underrepresented and disadvantaged students about the variety of career options available on campus. Students will be exposed to the six colleges by receiving admissions information, participating in rotations through various clinical sites, touring with hands-on activities in the simulation center and through interactions with current health professional students.
Representatives from each UAMS colleges will be present for students to meet throughout the day. Formal breakout session targeting each college discipline will be held during the morning session. Students guided tours of UAMS will be available to students, faculty and staff.
The event is meant to give students a sense of life at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences as well as to celebrate and embrace students of diverse backgrounds.
