Allie Staton
PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Resident, Bryant Family Pharmacy

UAMS Department of Pharmacy Practice

Allie Staton is a 2018 graduate of University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy. Allie is very passionate about independent community pharmacy and is excited to provide patient care in her hometown of Bryant, Arkansas.

As a student pharmacist, Allie worked diligently to expand her knowledge of community pharmacy by serving as an officer in the UAMS Chapter of National Community Pharmacist Association (NCPA) and by working part-time between Cornerstone Pharmacy and Bryant Family Pharmacy. Her dedication towards independent community pharmacy led her to become the 2017-2018 recipient of the Karrol and Vicki Fowlkes Excellence in Community Pharmacy Endowed Scholarship. She was also awarded a position in the UAMS Community Pharmacy Tracks Program, which allowed her to focus on independent community pharmacy during her senior year.

In her spare time, Allie enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her two goldendoodles, Wellington (“Wells”) and Ellie Belle. Her recently late husband, Eli Staton, was a Firefighter/Paramedic for the North Little Rock Fire Department and was her biggest inspiration for serving others. She hopes to continue his legacy through the residency position at Bryant Family Pharmacy by providing the best care possible to her patients and better serving the community of Bryant.
